JOB DESCRIPTION Cloud NOC Analyst (L1) Cordance RFP | 18x7 AWS & Azure Managed NOC ROLE PURPOSE ENGAGEMENT CONTEXT Provide first-line 18x7 monitoring, event triage, incident logging, initial diagnosis and escalation for AWS and Azure operations. multi-business-unit cloud environment with AWS and Azure workloads; 18x7 managed operations; customer monitoring/ITSM ecosystem; ITIL-aligned governance, automation and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities · Monitor Datadog, AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor dashboards and alerts. · Validate, enrich, deduplicate and prioritize events; create/update ITSM tickets. · Execute approved L1 runbooks for availability, utilization, connectivity and service-health events. · Perform first-level checks across compute, storage, networking, databases and cloud services. · Escalate unresolved/high-impact events to L2 and customer/application teams using the escalation matrix. · Support major-incident bridges, shift handovers and daily operational reporting. · Identify recurring alerts, noisy monitoring and knowledge gaps for problem management and automation. Must-Have Technical & Operational Skills · 2–4 years NOC/cloud/infrastructure operations experience. · Hands-on AWS and/or Azure monitoring experience. · Datadog, AWS CloudWatch and Azure Monitor or equivalent observability tools. · Incident/event triage and severity/priority management. · ITSM knowledge: Incident, Service Request, Change and Escalation. · Basic AWS/Azure compute, storage, networking and database knowledge. · Ability to interpret metrics, logs, dashboards and alerts. · Strong written/verbal communication and shift-handover discipline. · Willingness to work 18x7 rotational shifts including weekends/holidays. Nice-to-Have Skills · ITIL Foundation. · AWS Cloud Practitioner or Azure Fundamentals. · Jira Service Management or ServiceNow. · Basic PowerShell/Python/shell scripting. · Exposure to automation/auto-remediation and event correlation. · Experience in customer-facing or regulated environments. Working Model · Operate within defined governance, security, access-control, change and escalation procedures. · Maintain accurate operational documentation, handover records and knowledge assets.
