Job Description


As a Cloud-Native Developer - Golang, you will:

  • Design, develop, and maintain production-grade backend services using Golang.

  • Build and extend Kubernetes functionality using Custom Resource Definitions (CRDs) and Operators.

  • Troubleshoot and debug complex Kubernetes workloads, services, and distributed systems.

  • Develop automation scripts, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps workflows using GitHub Actions and related tools.

  • Implement observability solutions including metrics, logging, and alerting using Prometheus and OpenSearch.

  • Manage infrastructure as code using Helm, Kustomize, and Terraform.

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

  • Contribute to internal documentation, code reviews, and open-source initiatives related to cloud-native technologies.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 5+ years of total development experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to Golang.

  • Strong proficiency in writing idiomatic Go code with effective testing and dependency management practices.

  • Proven hands-on experience managing Kubernetes clusters and resources using kubectl and Helm/Kustomize.

  • In-depth understanding of microservice architecture, API-first development, and distributed systems.

  • Solid grasp of observability tools and practices, including metrics, logs, and health checks.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Makefiles, and automation of build and deployment processes.

  • Experience collaborating through Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, reviews).

  • Exposure to Prometheus, OpenSearch, or similar monitoring tools for performance tracking.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to operate effectively in distributed, cross-functional teams.

You should possess the ability to:

  • Extend and integrate Kubernetes capabilities via CRDs, Operators, and custom controllers.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues within containerized environments and distributed architectures.

  • Optimize system performance and scalability across multiple environments.

  • Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code adhering to modern best practices.

  • Automate deployment workflows and improve delivery speed using CI/CD and GitOps.

  • Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to enhance platform reliability and resilience.

  • Adapt to evolving technologies and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.

  • Translate operational challenges into engineering solutions using Go and Kubernetes APIs.
