Platform Engineering is Sapiens' delivery-enablement discipline — the job responsible for building, automating, and continuously operating the CI/CD pipelines, environment provisioning tooling, and Internal Developer Platform (IDP) self-service components that let product engineering squads ship software continuously, safely, and without operational friction. The role treats the platform itself as a product with internal customers whose experience is continuously measured and improved, and that same enabling purpose carries directly into leading the pool responsible for that machinery — coordinating delivery priorities, developing the engineers who build and operate it, and setting the reliability discipline, IDP roadmap, and capability direction that keep Sapiens' SaaS release model dependable as the organisation scales. Whether expressed as direct platform craft or as team leadership and capability stewardship, the purpose stays the same: make continuous, reliable software delivery possible for the whole engineering organisation.

Requirements

Sapiens is on the lookout for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Specialist to become a key player in our Bangalore team. If you're a Cloud pro and ready to take your career to new heights with an established, globally successful company, this role could be the perfect fit.

What you’ll do

• Extensive experience in infrastructure implementation, Automation, deployment, documenting and maintenance of Client/Server, Web based applications in multi - tiered architecture, Internet/Intranet infrastructure and clustered environments.
• Experienced with Azure IaaS/PaaS Configuration and Administration of Azure Resources.
• Strong understanding of commonly used WAF, Azure PaaS Services viz. SQL PaaS, Azure Functions, AKS, ACR, API Management etc.
• Knowledge and experience with working on PowerShell, JSON, XML, or similar scripting language.
• Experienced with VM Build & Management from VHD, establishes policy and ability to create policy.
• Experience in Security, Compliance, Vulnerability management.
• Implementation, maintenance and troubleshooting in the following Azure infrastructure practices: backup, ASR, firewall management, Load balancing, Application gateway, WAF, etc.
• Knowledge with Azure Key Vault and Azure Storage.
• Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps.
• Should have knowledge and work experience in Incident Management + Change Management (Planning and Execution) On-call Escalation.
• In-depth knowledge on Active Directory, disaster recovery and backup solution.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills on Windows and Linux operating system.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS technology including AD Forest, Domains, Trusts, DNS, Organizational Units.
• Experience and in-depth knowledge on DFS, FRS and Folder redirection.
• Basic Networking skills related to DNS & domain management.
• Awareness of ITIL Framework.
• Must be Microsoft Azure certified. [like AZ104, AZ303,AZ304]
• Possess good team-management and leadership qualities.
