CLOUD EXPERT

We are looking for a Cloud Expert to be part of our Nestlé Nespresso Digital and Tech Team.

Position Snapshot:

The Role:

Under the supervision and guidance of the Product Owner, the Cloud expert brings strong expertise in cloud technologies, Linux operating systems, architecture, engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering. S/He designs, operates, and continuously improves secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available infrastructure services. S/He applies automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and SRE practices to improve reliability, performance, and operational efficiency. S/He also provides advanced troubleshooting, leads root cause analysis, and supports application and platform teams with architecture, migration, modernization, and production readiness.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Collaborate with multiple teams to implement, evolve and maintain the Cloud solutions that empower Nespresso Applications.
  • Operate the necessary IaC to deploy Nespresso Infrastructure.
  • Ensure optimal end-to-end delivery of IaC to Cloud providers by understanding and overseeing the delivery pipeline.
  • Mentor Platform teams in the optimal usage of IaC, CaC, and GitOps within the scope of the landing zones.
  • Work closely with DevOps, development teams and suppliers to secure that the value planned will be delivered in the most optimal way.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience working with multiple Cloud Providers. Extensive experience with Azure-AWS/GCP is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in hands-on IaC development. Extensive experience utilizing Terraform is a must.
  • Proficiency in hands-on CaC development. Extensive experience utilizing Ansible is a must.
  • Proficiency in hands-on core Linux OS technologies (OS, load balancers, app servers, …). Extensive experience in Linux environments, troubleshooting and in D&B activities is a must.
  • Demonstrable experience working with DevOps and modern software engineering practices, including microservices and containerization architectures (AKS, OKE, Openshift…).
  • Experience in effective communication at different level in the organization and in English.

Extra Skills That Set You Apart:

  • CI/CD Pipeline Integration: Proficiency in integrating solutions into Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, ensuring seamless updates and deployments.
  • Demonstrable experience working in enterprise-scale Cloud deployments and landing zones, including fundamentals of cloud-native Identity, Networking and Security.
  • Experience having worked in a global environment and with virtual teams.
  • Strong communication skills
