Your contributions can help clients improve financial performance, accelerate new digital ventures, and fuel growth through innovation.Work you'll doAs a Software Engineer II on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for:Configure, support, and troubleshoot API and system integrations using IBM DataPower, Microsoft BizTalk, and Azure Integration Services, including API Management, Logic Apps, and Service BusManage API connectivity, routing, authentication, authorization, TLS certificates, message transformation, endpoints, queues, and downstream dependencies across integration environmentsTroubleshoot infrastructure and production issues by analyzing network traffic, firewall logs, monitoring alerts, deployment failures, connectivity issues, performance issues, and integration errorsUse Infrastructure as Code practices to provision, configure, standardize, and maintain infrastructure environments, while supporting network and firewall administration activitiesSupport releases, modernization efforts, and operational readiness activities, including change management, environment transitions, patching, upgrades, incident escalation, root-cause analysis, and technical documentationA successful candidate would possess these skills:Ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a teamEffective written and verbal communication skillsMeticulous attention to detail and quality of work productAbility to build and sustain professional relationshipsAbility to lead projects or workstreamsAbility to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentStrong interpersonal skills and professional demeanorAbility to meet deadlinesAbility to provide clear guidance to othersThe teamDeloitte’s Government & Public Services (GPS) practice – our people, ideas, technology and outcomes – is designed for impact. Team members focus on delivering services to clients, without additional expectations related to business development or promotion. Their employment is tied to their role on a project, and they are eligible for a benefits package that is competitive for project delivery-focused professionals.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s degree5+ years of experience in infrastructure support and system integrationExperience supporting integrations using Azure Integration Services and IBM DataPowerAbility to travel 15-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.Preferred:Experience with Microsoft BizTalkExperience using Infrastructure as Code to provision and maintain infrastructure environmentsExperience supporting API management, message transformation, and integration troubleshootingExperience with Azure DevOps, middleware upgrades, or cloud modernization initiatives
