The qualified candidate must have an active TS/SCI security clearance and will support a cloud development and deployment team responsible for delivering and maintaining multiple operational cloud-deployed software solutions. The ideal candidate has experience across all AWS environments and can provide analysis and recommendations for architectural and configuration updates.

Responsibilities:
This position involves collaborating with teams to design and implement AWS system architectures, including the operational status and security of government systems (ATO), reviewing and providing input to system requirements, and incorporating industry best practices and lessons learned into future design iterations. The role applies broad systems engineering lifecycle experience to AWS cloud initiatives focused on architectural design and development. The engineer works with team members to move data to the appropriate data stores and monitors dashboard metrics including cost, computational utilization, and other emerging business needs.
