  • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
  • Support hybrid-cloud and multi-account environments, ensuring consistency and security across deployments.
  • Contribute to proofs-of-concept for new AWS services and automation tooling.

DevOps & Automation

  • Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployments.

  • Partner with developers to streamline build, release, and deployment workflows.

Operational Excellence

  • Support resiliency through backup, disaster recovery, and failover configurations.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response, contributing to root-cause analysis and continuous improvement.
  • Implement performance tuning and cost optimization across AWS workloads.

Security & Compliance

  • Apply security-by-design principles across networking, IAM, encryption, and access controls.
  • Build solutions aligned with frameworks such as HIPAA, HITRUST, or SOC 2.
  • Work with security and compliance teams to support audits, documentation, and remediation efforts.

Technical Collaboration

  • Partner with senior engineers and architects on cloud design discussions.
  • Share best practices and help mentor junior engineers on cloud, automation, and DevOps practices.
  • Contribute to the evolution of standards, documentation, and operational runbooks.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor’s /Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps engineering, or infrastructure engineering.
  • 3+ years of hands-on AWS experience across core compute, networking, storage, and security services.
  • 3+ years of experience with IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK).
  • 3+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and observability platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes).
  • Experience supporting production systems in regulated or security-conscious environments.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
  • Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures.
  • Familiarity with AWS cost management and optimization tools (Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, Compute Optimizer).
  • AWS Associate or Professional certifications.
