Sectra is looking for a motivated and technically curious Cloud Engineer, AI Platform who is excited to grow their career at the intersection of cloud technology, artificial intelligence, and healthcare innovation.

As part of Sectra's global Amplifier team, you will support a cloud-based AI platform that enables healthcare organizations to seamlessly adopt and utilize artificial intelligence applications within their clinical workflows. Working closely with colleagues across North America and Europe, you will help deploy, maintain, test, and improve services that are transforming the future of medical imaging.

This position is part of a global team and offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues, customers, and partners across multiple countries and time zones.

What You Will Do

  • Support the deployment, operation, and continuous improvement of Sectra's cloud-based AI platform and services
  • Assist with cloud infrastructure configuration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting activities
  • Work with Azure-based environments and help ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our SaaS offerings
  • Participate in testing and validation activities for third-party AI applications integrated into the Amplifier platform
  • Investigate technical issues using logs, monitoring tools, and structured troubleshooting techniques
  • Respond to and troubleshoot customer-reported issues related to Amplifier Services, working closely with customers, engineers, and product teams to restore service and prevent recurrence
  • Collaborate with engineers, product specialists, and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery
  • Assist with automation initiatives that improve efficiency, scalability, and operational reliability
  • Learn and develop technical expertise in cloud technologies, virtualization, networking, containerization, and healthcare IT environments
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders, global teams, and external partners to support service delivery and technical initiatives
  • Contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and process improvement efforts
  • Build strong working relationships through collaboration, curiosity, and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Travel as required, up to 25%

Who You Are

  • You have 1–4 years of experience in cloud operations, systems administration, technical support, software engineering, IT infrastructure, DevOps, or a related technical field
  • You are naturally curious and enjoy learning how complex systems work
  • You have strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
  • You enjoy working with technology and are excited by cloud platforms, automation, and emerging technologies such as AI
  • You have exposure to cloud environments, networking, virtualization, scripting, or software development through work experience, internships, education, or personal projects
  • You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • You are organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • You enjoy collaborating with others and contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • You are excited about the opportunity to work in healthcare technology and contribute to solutions that improve patient care

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure or other cloud platforms
  • Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, virtualization technologies, or containerized environments
  • Experience with scripting or automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with Git and version control practices
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, or cloud automation tools
  • Knowledge of networking, IT security principles, or cloud storage technologies
  • Exposure to healthcare IT environments or standards such as DICOM and HL7
  • Experience supporting SaaS applications or enterprise software environments

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary range: $75,000–$95,000, based on experience and qualifications
