Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer – Azure | AWS | Kubernetes | Terraform

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud / DevOps Engineer to join a high-performing technology team delivering scalable, secure and highly available cloud platforms and applications.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Cloud/DevOps professional with strong experience across Azure DevOps, AWS, Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, CI/CD and automation You will work closely with engineering, architecture and application teams to design, build and optimise modern cloud environments and deployment pipelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable, secure and highly available cloud infrastructure, primarily within AWS
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation and AWS CDK.
• Build, deploy and manage containerised workloads using Docker, Kubernetes and Amazon ECS
• Design, implement and enhance automated CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline and GitOps practices.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and deployment processes using Python, Bash, PowerShell and Ansible
• Partner with development teams to enable reliable deployment of applications and microservices across cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring, observability and logging solutions using tools such as Splunk, CloudWatch, DataDog, New Relic, Prometheus and Grafana
• Troubleshoot complex cloud, infrastructure, application and deployment issues across development and production environments.
• Support cloud security, governance, performance optimisation, resilience and operational best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of DevOps processes, engineering standards, automation frameworks and platform capabilities.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong experience with Terraform and Terragrunt for Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
• Strong CI/CD experience using Jenkins, TeamCity, AWS CodePipeline and/or GitOps
• Experience with configuration management and automation using Ansible
• Strong scripting or programming capability with Python, Bash, PowerShell or similar languages
• Good understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs and distributed applications
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging and observability solutions.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with Git-based source control and modern DevOps engineering practices.

Highly Desirable

• Observability: Splunk, New Relic, CloudWatch, DataDog, Prometheus, Grafana
• APIs: REST, SOAP, GraphQL
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies, including PyTorch, PySpark, Pandas, Jupyter Notebook and Large Language Models (LLMs), would be beneficial.
