Job Description

We Create Products and Brands That People Trust to Clean, Sanitize, and Protect Their Homes and Pools

When you join KIK Consumer Products, you’re joining a team that cares about the work we do and also about each other. We bring exceptional brands and products to consumers that help them protect the health and wellness of their families and the cleanliness of their homes and pools. We are committed to building a culture of performance driven by accountability, collaboration, and agility that enables timely fact-based decision-making and exceptional execution with unwavering ethics. As one of North America’s largest independent manufacturers of consumer products, KIK helps a large portfolio of brands and retailers bring their products to life.

Your Role at KIK

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, building, automating, and operating KIK's Azure-based cloud platform that supports enterprise infrastructure, data, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with Infrastructure, Security, Data Engineering, Architecture, and Application teams to build secure, scalable, and automated cloud platforms that support enterprise applications, data pipelines, Lakehouse architectures, and enterprise data services.

The ideal candidate combines strong Azure infrastructure expertise with modern DevOps, Infrastructure-as-Code, containerization, Kubernetes, and cloud platform engineering experience. This role will drive automation, platform reliability, security, and CI/CD best practices using GitHub, Terraform, and Azure-native services.

As a secondary responsibility as M365 Engineer, the engineer supports Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, Teams, and SharePoint, handling user administration, license management, and basic security policies. This blended role requires strong knowledge of Azure IaaS/PaaS and practical experience with Microsoft 365 administration in a hybrid cloud environment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Cloud Engineering

  • Design, deploy, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure supporting enterprise applications, data platforms, analytics, and business-critical workloads.
  • Build secure and scalable cloud environments using Azure networking, storage, identity, monitoring, and security services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, and Git-based deployment practices.
  • Design and support Azure networking including VNets, NSGs, Private Endpoints, VPNs, Load Balancers, and Azure RBAC.
  • Partner with infrastructure, security, and application teams to modernize and automate cloud operations while improving platform reliability, scalability, and security.

Microsoft 365 & Identity

  • Oversee full Exchange Online mail flow, SPF/DKIM/DMARC configuration, retention and distribution-list lifecycle; administering Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune, Viva, and license assignments; and deploying E5 features such as Defender for Office 365.
  • Operate hybrid Entra ID environments by maintaining Azure AD Connect or Cloud Sync, enforcing Conditional Access and MFA, utilizing Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and monitoring Identity Protection alerts.

DevOps & Automation

  • Build and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines supporting infrastructure, platform, and data solution deployments.
  • Automate provisioning and configuration of Azure resources including virtual machines, networking, storage, identity, and security services.
Implement Configuration-as-Code practices ensuring all environment settings, application configurations, and deployment parameters are maintained in YAML/configuration files rather than hard-coded solutions.
  • Develop automation using Python and PowerShell to streamline platform operations, monitoring, compliance validation, and deployment processes.
Support environment promotion strategies across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.

Containerization & Platform Operations

  • Deploy and support containerized workloads using Docker and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
  • Manage container registries, Helm deployments, and Kubernetes-based application platforms.
  • Troubleshoot production platform issues across infrastructure, Kubernetes, networking, and application layers.
  • Implement observability solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus, Grafana, and related monitoring tools.

Data Platform Enablement

  • Support Azure-based Lakehouse architectures including Azure Data Lake and Databricks environments.
  • Enable secure and scalable access to enterprise data for analytics, reporting, and operational workloads.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering teams to support data platform services and data integration initiatives.
  • Implement platform capabilities that improve data accessibility, reliability, governance, and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of Cloud Infrastructure or DevOps experience.
  • Strong Azure infrastructure expertise including virtual machines, networking, storage, security, identity, and monitoring.
  • Experience automating infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Bicep, ARM, or similar Infrastructure as Code technologies.
  • Experience building and supporting GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience automating deployment and configuration of cloud infrastructure, networking, and security services.
  • Strong Docker and Kubernetes (AKS preferred) experience.
  • Python and PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, observability, and production support practices.
  • Experience supporting Azure Data Lake, Databricks, or Lakehouse architectures.
  • Strong troubleshooting and incident response experience in production cloud environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and analytics environments.
  • Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Lake, or modern Lakehouse architectures.
  • GitOps experience using ArgoCD, FluxCD, or similar technologies.
  • Observability experience using Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with Azure security, governance, and compliance best practices.
