Cloud Engineer

(Hybrid/Kraków – 1 day per week in the office)

About the role

As a Cloud Engineer, you will support a dedicated engineering team in building and operating solutions on a shared platform. You will provide guidance on platform-aligned implementations, including pipelines, orchestration, APIs, and reusable components.

You will help maintain and improve core platform capabilities such as CI/CD pipelines, orchestration layers, APIs, and shared frontend elements, while supporting the team in adopting platform standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Manage and improve infrastructure orchestration and deployment workflows.
  • Ensure availability, performance, and security of platform services and supporting infrastructure.
  • Automate operational processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Monitor systems and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Support incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve deployment reliability and operational maturity.
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and operational runbooks.

What you'll bring

  • Strong experience working with AWS services, designing and operating cloud infrastructure in production environments.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform, for provisioning and managing cloud resources.
  • Solid understanding of SRE principles, including reliability, observability, incident management, and error budgets.
  • Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Good knowledge of cloud security practices, including IAM, network security, secrets management, and compliance considerations.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration technologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and deployment issues.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
