What we’re doing isn’t easy, but nothing worth doing ever is.
At Diligent Robotics, we envision a future powered by robots that work seamlessly with human teams. We build artificial intelligence that enables service robots to collaborate with people and adapt to dynamic human environments. Our robots operate in complex environments such as hospitals, supporting staff so they can focus on higher-value work and patient care.
As we continue scaling our robot fleet and the systems that support it, we’re building a robust platform to manage robot operations, fleet performance, and integrations with customer systems. Join our mission-driven team as we build the applications and infrastructure that power the next generation of robot management.
The Cloud Architect – Robot Management Systems is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for defining and executing the architecture and roadmap for Diligent’s Robot Management Systems. These systems power the cloud services, APIs, and applications used to manage robot fleets, integrate with customer systems, and support our Operations teams in the field.
This role combines architecture, engineering leadership, and hands-on development. You will collaborate closely with the VP of Robot Management Systems to define strategy and priorities, guide the engineering roadmap, and ensure high-quality delivery through modern cloud-native architecture and CI/CD practices.
You will work cross-functionally with Operations, Product, Implementation, and Customer teams to ensure the systems we build are scalable, reliable, and aligned with real-world operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Basic Qualifications

We are a human-centered robotics company. Our mission is to make technical advances towards robots and humans working together side by side, with an emphasis on human-centric design. Diligent Robotics is developing a suite of artificial intelligence that enables robots to collaborate with and adapt to humans in everyday environments.
Our service robots are designed to participate and work together with teams of humans. Our first product is a hospital service robot that can assist clinical staff with logistical tasks, allowing them to spend more of their time on direct patient care, improving patient satisfaction, quality of service, and safety.
