Responsible for designing and implementing information systems to fit with DoPs existing infrastructure, private cloud, multi/hybrid cloud initiatives. Responsible to Architect, design, define BoQ, implement, operate & maintain necessary technical infrastructure including Server, storage, network, security along with performance and replication functions. Collaborates with other architects in the technology team.
What you will do:
· Responsible for DoP’s infrastructure design, system analysis, security, data center operation, network, and voice communication.
· Advises DoP and other teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.
· Develop implementation plan for infrastructure design on basis of DoP’s IT strategies and business requirements.
· Should participate to develop and manage ongoing enterprise architecture governance structure based on DoP’s IT strategies.
· Responsible for ensuring optimal governance structure and compliance with activities related to infrastructure architecture adherence.
· Should analyze existing systems to ensure that these systems provide the necessary security.
· Should introduce alternative technologies to improve or enhance DoP’s information systems to support their organizational goals.
· Formulate detailed plans to add new systems to the existing core infrastructure which also includes logistic plans for conducting physical integration of hardware.
· Participate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
· Communicate and validate program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team and technology services management team.
· Develop enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
· Lead and direct to prepare governing principles to guide decision making pertinent to infrastructure architecture.
· Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions.
· Collect performance data to monitor system efficiencies. Monitor both resource usage and failure rates of installed systems and provide feedback.
Certification
· Certified Cloud Architect in AWS/Azure/GCP
· Server, Storage, Network, certification
· CCNA certification, CCIE certification, CISA
· TOGAF9 Certified
· Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
Work Experience
· At least 15 years of software or infrastructure architecture experience with at least 4 years of relevant experience in public sector projects.
· 10 years of IT Infrastructure & Cloud work experience.
· Experience in the IT environment managing IT infrastructure, hardware, hosting service and network areas.
· Ability to write architectural design documents/review design documents.
· Building and integrating information systems to meet organization’s needs.
· Knowledge and understanding of industry trends and new technologies and ability to apply trends to architectural needs.
· Experience with Servers, Infrastructure, Platform Sizing, Infrastructure Cost Reduction.
· Demonstrable knowledge of IT system architecture, design, implementation & administration, monitoring.
· Familiarity of Agile, DevOps, Cloud Computing, digital security, Integration, Automation, robotics
· Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web- scale software deployments.
· Has a strong understanding of TCP, IP and other network protocols
· Has strong understanding and working experience of Agile-based project Delivery.
· Knowledge of managing a data center in terms of systems monitoring capacity planning and performance tuning.
· Experience in Enterprise applications, Information system development, Network software, Cloud methodologies, Web server and application server administration and web applications deployment experience, Knowledge of System Administration
· Strong hold on designing, Infrastructure as a Code, integrating, managing infrastructure, and managing complex infrastructure solution
