Your Role

MELBOURNE LOCATION

Salary range - above $107000

• Cloud Architect / SME
• Cloud DevOps, CI/CD, Automation, Pipeline design, build & management & scripting skills
• Azure Cloud with additional skill on AWS and/or GCP platforms
• Microsoft Azure IaaS & PaaS & hybrid solutions
• Technical architecture – design/build/implement & consulting on Hybrid Cloud & DCT landscape

Responsibilities:

• Work as Cloud Architect / Managing Delivery Architect for BOQ‑owned banking applications.
• Lead Azure cloud architecture and infrastructure delivery across multiple strategic initiatives.

Serve as technical authority for:

• Cloud migrations and platform upgrades

• Security and compliance alignment
• Access models, RBAC/URBAC, and identity integration

Providing architectural leadership across initiatives involving:

• Hybrid cloud
• Azure platform services
• Security tooling and cloud governance
• Operating in a consultative role, working closely with BOQ stakeholders, vendors, and international product teams.
• Responsible for technical readiness, risk identification, migration assurance, and handover to support.

Your Profile

Experience and Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of banking‑grade architecture standards and risk posture
• Strong ability to translate business and regulatory requirements into secure, scalable cloud designs
• Confident operating as a Technical SME and trusted advisor to stakeholders
• Hands‑on technical expertise with architecture governance and assurance
• Experienced in ensuring delivery outcomes without scope creep in tightly governed environments
