Job Description

Our client is a leading digital transformation consultancy committed to delivering cutting-edge solutions to empower businesses in the ASEAN region. Responsibilities :

  • Design and implement cloud solutions leveraging GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Kubernetes Engine, and AI/ML services.
  • Lead the migration of on-premises applications and workloads to GCP, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
  • Evaluate and optimize cloud architecture to improve performance, security, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
  • Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues related to cloud architecture.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for architecture designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on GCP best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 3 years specializing in Google Cloud Platform.
  • Proficiency in GCP services: Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, VPC Networking, Kubernetes (GKE), and IAM.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud-native design principles, including microservices and serverless architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Expertise in security frameworks, identity management, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification or equivalent.
