What will be your next challenge?

Join BIP – xTech, the Center of Excellence within BIP specializing in consulting and innovative services in Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Cloud, IT and Network Architectures, AI Engineering, Blockchain, 5G, and much more.

As part of an ongoing process of evolution and adoption of these technologies across our client base, we are looking for a senior professional to take on a technical and managerial leadership role in the Cloud & Data Platforms area, capable of driving the business development of the practice.

The selected candidate will play a key role in client management, new business development, and strategic team growth. They will have a strong understanding of the cloud ecosystem and of the main enterprise solutions adopted in the Italian banking sector, and will be able to interpret clients’ needs in light of new market offerings.

They will also contribute to identifying new market opportunities, scouting innovative technological solutions, and will report directly to the Area Partner to analyze the current situation and define new development strategies.

Essential Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM discipline

At least 5years of consulting and delivery experience in Data and Cloud implementation projects

Proven experience managing multiple parallel projects for different clients and multidisciplinary teams of 4+ professionals

Knowledge of cloud strategy, cloud adoption, and workload migration to the cloud

Understanding of Cloud Governance and FinOps methodology

General knowledge of major market technologies and their characteristics

Familiarity with hybrid-cloud and multi-cloud architectures

In-depth knowledge of at least one of the following providers: AWS or Microsoft Azure

Strong business development mindset, client relationship skills, and ability to design complex solutions

Proficiency in English

Nice to Have

Background in Microsoft Cloud or Amazon Cloud projects

Experience in business development, with understanding of market trends and regulatory aspects within the geographical area of reference

One or more Cloud certifications issued by Microsoft or AWS

Soft Skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in project financial management

Client- and results-oriented mindset

Strong teamwork attitude
