Cloud Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud technology solutions that meet the business needs within MediCard. This role requires a deep understanding of both business and technical aspects, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with industry’s best practicesDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions using Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.
• Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams and clients.
• Conduct regular assessments and audits of cloud environments to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Stay updated with the latest Azure features and technologies to continuously improve solutions.
• Manage, own, and update Azure Cloud Landing Zone
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role, with a focus on Azure.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
• Proficiency in Azure services such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Active Directory.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep.
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of hybrid cloud solutions and integration with on-premises systems.
