Eliot is seeking an empathetic Clinician to join our Adult Intensive Team. Eliot's AIT(Adult Intensive Team) is dedicated to providing quality behavioral health treatment and support in our innovative Community Behavioral Health Center (CBHC) program. Eliot’s CBHC serves as a single entry point for mental health and substance use services for youth, families and adults. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to provide evidence-based treatment to Adults utilizing sound judgment, excellent clinical skills with the ability to provide effective, solution focused therapy to a diverse client base with a wide array of presenting problems.

The AIT Clinician is responsible for leading and maintaining therapeutic groups, participating in multidisciplinary meetings, and engaging in weekly sessions with their individual clients to work toward treatment goals. The AIT Clinician will work with adults, running therapeutic groups, providing individual sessions, and coordinate care with other providers. The ideal candidate would have a history of working with groups and work well in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide evidence-based therapy and interventions focused on problem-solving, skills training, modeling behavior, optimism, and encouragement to clients and families
  • Offer therapy in the office, virtually, in the community, or at client residences based on client preferences and needs as well as clinical direction
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, utilizing a team approach to treatment.
  • Conduct and complete evaluations and assessments of clients
  • Ensure active client involvement in the treatment planning process, embracing their preferences
  • Provide individual therapy to clients and families within the CBHC framework
  • Establish effective working relationships with clients, ensuring client safety and fostering well being.

Qualifications:

  • Requires a Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or other related area.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, preferred.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, competence in crisis intervention, ability to develop short term interventions to support clients/families, and engagement strategies
  • Must be able to quickly establish rapport with a wide range of clinical presentations. Knowledge of the vast array of community resources and how to access them.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm


Annual Salary $65,000$70,000 USD
