
We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Rehab Clinician to join our team. This role involves assessing and treating patients recovering from cardiac events, guiding them through exercise, nutrition, and education goals, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.
Assess patients using subjective and objective data, including discharge planning
Assist patients in setting and tracking goals for exercise, nutrition, and education
Monitor exercise sessions, including telemetry and patient response
Complete discharge summaries and track functional outcomes for national registry and certification
Provide education on exercise, nutrition, and medications
Support program standards for national recertification
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in nursing, respiratory therapy, or related healthcare field with 2+ years of specialty experience
OR Associate’s degree with 5+ years of specialty experience
Experience:
Minimum 2 years working with cardiac patients and telemetry monitoring
Licensure/Certification:
Current RN license in Maryland or Compact state with Multi-State Privilege
OR Maryland Respiratory Care Practitioner license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Skills:
Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Ability to educate and motivate patients
Familiarity with national cardiac rehab standards
Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs)
Fine hand-eye coordination and hearing acuity
Ability to concentrate on detail, remember multiple tasks, and communicate clearly
Exposure to blood, body fluids, chemicals, and temperature fluctuations
