Clinical Vendor Contract Manager

As a Clinical Vendor Contract Manager at ICON, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
What You Will Do:
You will manage day-to-day supply chain and procurement activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, negotiating contracts, and supplier management.
Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with company goals and ensure cost savings while maintaining quality standards.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify procurement needs and ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring compliance with contracts.
Monitoring market trends and conducting supplier assessments to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
Ensuring compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards throughout the procurement process.
Your Profile:
You will have solid supply chain and procurement experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.
Required qualifications and experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred, with extensive experience in procurement or supply chain management.
Proven experience in managing procurement operations, including vendor negotiation, contract management, and strategic sourcing.
Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage procurement teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with experience in managing procurement budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to driving efficiency and compliance in procurement operations.
Willingness to travel as required (approximately 10%)
