A Clinical Training Coordinator who will help support the implementation, delivery, and coordination of agency-wide clinical training and professional development initiatives within a behavioral health organization, working under the direction of the Clinical Training Director to assist with onboarding, training delivery, and workforce development. This role collaborates with Clinical Leadership, Human Resources, and Compliance to support orientation, required trainings, and ongoing professional development while ensuring training standards are evidence-informed, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Role Highlights:

  • Support the Director in the coordination, implementation, and ongoing management of agency-wide clinical training initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and facilitation of clinical trainings to ensure effective delivery and staff engagement.
  • Contribute to the development, execution and monitoring of the annual clinical training plan based on workforce needs, compliance standards and emerging best practices.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding training plans, tracking progress and ensuring timely completion of required trainings.
  • Provide support in clinical documentation coaching and training efforts to promote accuracy, compliance and quality of care.
  • Serve as a resource to staff by reinforcing clinical training standards within community mental health and behavioral health settings.
  • Help ensure training materials reflect evidence-based practices, ethical standards, cultural responsiveness and trauma-informed care principles.
  • Administer and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), including tracking completions, generating reports, and supporting compliance monitoring and training analysis.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Registered Nurse, Chemical dependency Counselor or related behavioral health field required.
  • Active clinical license in good standing (LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC) preferred.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a community mental health or behavioral health setting.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, delivering, and evaluating clinical training or professional development initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of behavioral health services, evidence-based practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with HR and Compliance teams preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between sites as necessary.
  • CPI Required.
