You’ll work directly with human patient simulators, task trainers, and debriefing tools, turning real clinical challenges into powerful learning moments.

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)
  • Days
  • No weekends or holidays commitment

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (Required)
  • Knowledge of human patient simulation education, pre-hospital care practice and educational practice & curriculum development
  • Demonstrated experience delivering education or training
  • ACLS within 1 Year is required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire is required

This position prepares, conducts, and coordinates simulation training programs for hospital and pre-hospital providers. This position has the ability to work with clinical content experts to design curriculum and experience with instructional needs assessment, design and evaluation, debrief tools, and data tracking for training efficiency. Uses good interpersonal communication skills and develops collaborative relationships with peers and customers to create and implement clinical and non-clinical training scenarios. Exhibits creative problem solving and initiative in managing change and independently performs responsibilities and day-to-day tasks.

Tasks including but not limited to technical skills to run human patient simulators, task trainers and clinical simulation tools of various types along with the debrief and data analysis used to analyze training efficiency. Participates in local and regional educational and simulation organizations.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Builds curriculum, provides lessons, lectures and labs for students in the simulation program, as well as EMS and prehospital providers.
  • Evaluates and provides ongoing performance feedback of students to faculty and Director that supports professional development of the student.
  • Contributes to sound fiscal and time management within the Simulation Center through efficient practice in the delivery of training and development of services. Is able to formulate an educational plan for any group needing simulation or educational guidance and implement that plan successfully.
  • Understands and knows how to run / control all of the human patient simulators, virtual reality trainers as well as task trainers. Integrates this knowledge with that of core curriculum building for all learners who come through the simulation center, including interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary teams.
