Clinical Support Worker
Thomas Embling Hospital | Melbourne

Employment Details
Employment Type: Full-Time ongoing (Casual positions also available)
Classification: MHO2
Pay Rate: $63,840 to $69,373 plus super and benefits
Location: Thomas Embling Hospital

The Role
As a Clinical Support Worker, you will work as part of a mobile support team responding to incidents, supporting de escalation, and maintaining safety across hospital units. The role operates on a rotating roster, including nights and weekends.

Key Duties
• Respond to incidents and support de escalation
• Assist with approved physical interventions
• Conduct safety and contraband checks
• Observe and report behaviour changes
• Support unit activities and emergency responses

What You’ll Bring
• Certificate III in Security Operations or Correctional Practice
• Physical and mental capability to manage OVA
• Calm, professional approach under pressure
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Mental health, security or corrections experience (desirable)
