Job Description

Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 - $24.00

Location: 1934 Old Gallows Road, Vienna, Virginia 22182

Schedule: Part-time hours scheduling between Monday to Wednesday, 8:30am to 3:00pm with up to two evenings per week between Monday to Thursday 3:00pm to 7:00pm.

Embark is looking for part-time Clinical Support who aligns with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety and depression to join our OP, IOP and PHP clinic in Vienna, VA. Come join our team of clinical professionals who are passionate about creating joy and healing generations together!

Every day, you will provide support to our outpatient behavioral health team by assisting with group therapy, supporting medical professionals in a clinical setting, and helping manage patient appointments, check‑ins, and orientation. You will collect and document patient data and insurance information while collaborating closely with the clinical team. Additionally, you will support clients in practicing skills that promote emotional and behavioral regulation and assist coworkers as needed to ensure high‑quality care.

Responsibilities

  • Support therapists in preparing for and co‑facilitating treatment groups, including client check‑ins, check‑outs, and group transitions
  • Provide client support throughout the day, including monitoring behavioral regulation, verbal de‑escalation, crisis support, and pulling clients as needed for safety
  • Monitor client behavior, affect, and participation; assist with safety checks, assessments, and appropriate screenings
  • Reinforce group rules, model positive behavior, and recognize clients for healthy coping and progress
  • Collaborate with the clinical team during group meetings and assist with documentation and administrative support
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment at all times
  • Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation with a 24‑hour turnaround
  • Successfully complete Safety Care Behavioral Safety, Verbal De‑Escalation, and ETA trainings

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, behavioral science, or equivalent field, preferred.
  • At least 1 year experience of working in a clinical or behavioral health setting, preferred
  • Experience working with adolescents, teens and young adults
  • ABA experience a plus, but not required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset with openness to feedback and learning
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
