
Position: Clinical Support Nurse – Aged Care/Acute Care
Location: Across NCN Health
EFT/Hours: 0.7 EFT (56 Hours Per Fortnight)
Status: Permanent Part Time
Hourly Rate: $58.3447 per hour plus 12% superannuation
NCN Health is seeking a Clinical Support Nurse to join our Clinical Education team.
The Clinical Support Nurse will provide support, education and mentoring to graduates, newly appointed and less experienced employees, helping them build confidence, capability and the skills required to deliver high-quality care. The role will work across multiple departments and campuses, supporting staff in a variety of clinical settings from Aged Care to Acute Care and responding to the diverse learning needs of our workforce.
The Clinical Support Nurse will identify and respond to the individual learning and development needs of staff, students and graduates, providing guidance, practical support and constructive feedback to promote safe and effective practice and ongoing professional development. Working closely with Nurse Unit Managers, staff, preceptors and mentors, the role will contribute to a supportive learning environment and assist with monitoring progress, evaluations and development.
The role will also work collaboratively with Allied Health Educators, the Learning and Development Coordinator and other members of the Education Group to foster a positive culture of learning, professional development and continuous improvement across NCN Health.
