Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Aide is responsible for assisting the front office, keeping the patient waiting areas clean and organized. This position works with the staff in greeting patients, assisting patients with any needs while waiting to be seen by the medical team. The Clinical Aide will assist with minor office duties as needed and requested by staff.

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

This position reports to the Practice Manager. No positions report to the Clinical Support Aide.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

While living and demonstrating our Core Values, the Clinical Support Aide will:

  • 10:00am to 10:30am – Make copies for Management, Front Staff and Clinical Care Team Medical if needed
  • 10:30am to 10:45am – Make coffee, prepare coffee cart
  • 10:45am to 11:15am – Circulate coffee cart in waiting area, greet patients
  • 11:15am to 11:45am – Wipe/sanitize chairs in waiting rooms and pediatric sick room
  • 11:45am to 12:00pm – Sanitize all door handles
  • 12:00pm to 12:15pm – Check resident sign in sheet, plug in laptops that are not plugged in
  • 12:15pm to 12:12:30pm – Conference room, push all chairs in under conference table, sanitize tops and wipe white board
  • 12:30pm to 1:00pm – Alternate tasks*

Alternate tasks:

  • Wipe down lab room (if unoccupied) handles, scales, bottom of scale, counters, and baby scales
  • Wipe down counters located in medical clinic pods
  • Wipe coffee areas/restock if needed
  • Make kits for vending machines (this does not include medical kits).

Other tasks to be added as employee becomes proficient at the discretion of the supervisor.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Meet The Wright Center for Community Health and its affiliated entity The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education EOS© People Analyzer Tool
  • Buy in and experience working in the EOS® model (strongly preferred)
  • Mission-oriented; represents the enterprise in a professional manner while demonstrating organizational pride
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required
