Clinical Supervisor

We’re looking for a committed and proactive Clinical Supervisor who is dedicated to patient-centered care and recovery. With us, you’ll play a critical role providing clinical leadership and supervision to our counselors, ensuring patients receive high-quality care, and guaranteeing compliance. Schedule: 5:30am - 2pm (Monday - Friday)

Pay: $80,000 - $83,000 annually plus Bonus Structure

Requirements: LADC (Supervisor)

What You’ll Do

Provide Care

  • Provide clinical leadership, guidance, and ongoing coaching to counselors, helping them grow professionally while delivering high-quality, compassionate care.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions that support patients throughout their recovery journey.
  • Complete required counseling sessions in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's unique goals and progress.
  • Oversee case management activities, ensuring patients receive timely follow-up and coordinated care.
  • Collaborate with community providers and respond to crisis situations with professionalism, compassion, and sound clinical judgement.
  • Help introduce and implement new clinical programs that enhance patient outcomes.

Manage Documentation

  • Ensure patient records and clinical documentation are accurate, timely, and complete.
  • Conduct peer chart reviews to support documentation quality, regulatory compliance, and continuous clinical improvement.
  • Monitor the quality of clinical services and provide constructive feedback that promotes best practices.

Team Building

  • Lead weekly supervision meetings that encourage collaboration, learning, and professional growth.
  • Mentor counselors through observation, case consultation, documentation review, and ongoing performance coaching.
  • Facilitate treatment team meetings to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Deliver training and stay current on emerging trends, evidence-based practices, and innovations in addiction treatment.
  • Encourage and support counselors as they pursue professional licensure, certification, and career development opportunities.
  • Represent the organization through community partnerships, outreach initiatives, and professional engagement.
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive team culture where collaboration, respect, and continuous learning are valued.

Required Qualifications

  • Comply with federal and state regulations for certification, licensure, and degree.
  • Knowledge of substance use disorder treatment, counseling techniques, and treatment planning.

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with electronic documentation.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Fast-paced clinical environment with period of increased activity.
  • Exposure to patients with substance use disorders, mental health conditions, infectious diseases, and criminal justice involvement.
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and stooping.
  • Alternating between sitting and standing throughout the workday.
  • Potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
  • Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
  • Frequent keyboarding and computer use.
