Job Description

Clinical Supervisor - Home Based Services

Pay: $36.06/hour (additional $5,000 annually for bilingual fluency in eligible languages & additional $5,000 annually for licensed psychologist)

Responsibilities

Clinical Supervision & Leadership

  • Provide individual and group supervision to clinicians, interns, and staff pursuing licensure.
  • Offer ongoing feedback, case consultation, and mentorship to support professional growth.
  • Ensure all clinical services meet best practices, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning

Quality of Care & Compliance

  • Review and approve clinical documentation including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
  • Conduct case reviews and clinical audits to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to DPH, MassHealth/CMS, and accreditation standards, as well as agency policies.

Clinical Oversight & Crisis Support

  • Support clinicians in managing complex, high-risk, and crisis cases
  • Provide guidance on risk assessment, safety planning, and crisis intervention strategies
  • Assist in developing and reviewing crisis and safety plans for clients.

Direct Clinical Work

  • Maintain a reduced caseload (as applicable), providing therapy to youth and families.
  • Model high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care

Staff Development & Training

  • Support clinicians working toward licensure by ensuring supervision meets licensure requirements
  • Provide or coordinate trainings on clinical topics such as evidence-based practices and crisis intervention.
  • Encourage development of specialty areas within behavioral health

Data, Reporting & Program Support

  • Monitor clinical performance metrics including documentation, outcomes, and service utilization
  • Assist in preparing reports and ensuring readiness for audits and regulatory reviews
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and multidisciplinary collaboration

What You Bring

    • Strong leadership and clinical supervision experience
    • Expertise in mental health assessment and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
    • Ability to support staff through complex clinical and crisis situations
    • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
    • Commitment to culturally responsive, client-centered care
    • Passion for mentoring and developing clinical talent

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • Active clinical license required (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist)
  • CANS Certification
  • Valid driver’s license (Class C or D)
