Are you passionate about addressing behavioral health needs through innovative programming, team leadership and trauma-informed care? Project Hospitality, the largest not-for-profit on Staten Island, is seeking a dynamic Clinical Supervisor to join our behavioral health team. In this impactful role, you’ll drive transformational change across our co-located OASAS 822 and OMH MOHTRS outpatient clinics. You’ll find the perfect mix of overseeing some managerial and some clinical operations of the clinics. This role offers the chance to leave a lasting impact on the lives of individuals by helping them find stability, dignity and hope when they need it most.

We’re looking for someone who can:

  • Champion person-centered, trauma informed, evidence-based practices that promote equity and dignity
  • Lead a dedicated team making a difference in the lives of the vulnerable
  • Motivate their team to reach funder driven program delivery goals at the same time maintaining exceptional clinical work with our clients
  • Work closely with the Clinic Director in order to ensure the clinics remain innovative and cutting edge in their treatment and practice

What we’ll expect you to do:

  • Have knowledge and experience with OASAS 822 Regulations out-patient operations and/or Licensed OMH MHOTRS program
  • Review and audit of clinical records to ensure chart completeness, quality of service delivery and compliance with funder requirements
  • Ensure that all documentation meets OASAS and OMIG requirements
  • Review, approve and sign all recovery treatment plans in a timely manner
  • Supervision of clinical staff including individual and group supervision of substance abuse counselors, therapists and peers
  • Management of clinician caseloads, including assignment, caseload size, and discharges
  • Some caseload coverage in the absence of counselor or therapist may be necessary

Qualifications

The credentials and experience we require:

  • LMSW or CASAC Advanced (or higher) or appropriate Master’s level degree (MSW, MHC) with a CASAC-t accepted as well. LCSW preferred.
  • Experience working in an OASAS 822 program and/or Licensed OMH MHOTRS program
  • A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
  • Must have exceptional communication skills both orally and in writing, as well as excellent computer skills
  • Must be able to navigate and work within an Electronic Health Records system (EHR)
