The Job
We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to manage and direct the Clinical and Treatment Plan Departments within facility practices and guidelines and governing body regulations and requirements. Directly supervise clinical staff and oversee the management of all Therapists in their performance of job duties. Support clinical staff in their duty to address and solve problems with consumers and referral sources. Support Treatment Plan Coordinator and ensure clinical compliance with facility practice and contract requirements. Works as integral part of facility's Management Team to meet or exceed industry standards of community-based mental health and substance abuse services. Position will be based in the new Tulsa, OK office.

Snapshot of Daily Duties
• Participate in the planning and approval of budgetary expenses for the department.
• Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of clinicians and employees with internship obligations.
• Maintain communication between other department heads by attending Administration Team meetings and coordinating interdepartmental functioning.
• Analyze counseling and guidance procedures and techniques to improve quality of service provided to consumers.
• Plan and implement counseling service programs to including supervision and training of personnel, and the quality of the delivering of services to consumers.
• Participate in the recruitment, appraising qualifications, hiring and training of clinical personnel.
• Monitor work schedules and assignments for clinicians according to caseload and employment agreement.
• Review, analyze and maintain an awareness of changes in the mental health field, diagnostic and treatment techniques, governing body requirements and regulations, Oklahoma LBHP licensing board requirements, legislation, laws and public policy.
• Establish objectives and evaluation criteria for clinical employees.
• Direct the design and preparation of quality assessment surveys for consumers and stakeholders.
• Work with Administration Team to develop and implement organizational policies and procedures for facility to remain in compliance with corporate expectations and guidelines and governing body regulations and requirements.
• Manage and train clinicians, usually by in-service training in a group setting or on a one-on-one basis as needed, in the delivery of mental health and substance abuse services to consumers.
• Problem solve with clinical staff, clinicians, consumers and referral sources to discuss service problems, respond to consumer needs, address barriers to accessibility, enhance public relations, coordinate services and promote exceptional programing.
• Identify and develop innovative therapeutic materials to continually improve program offerings.
• Conduct weekly Treatment Plan Department meetings in group setting, and on an individual basis as needed.
• Advise clinicians to effectively manage time and caseloads.
• Evaluate effectiveness of the clinician/consumer relationship, making changes when necessary.
• Establish regular communication with ancillary providers and update the Administration Team on consumer progress and make recommendations for the utilization of these services.
• Represent department Administration Team meetings as well as leading departmental and treatment meeting with multi-departmental staff.
• Monitor the utilization of authorized services and frequency of overtime to ensure effective use of resources and assess the need for additional staff, equipment, and services.
• Address community groups and agency staff to interpret counseling services.
• Direct activities to ensure readiness of facilities, clinical records and other required resources for governing body audits.
• Direct activities of staff related to reviewing medical case histories, coding diseases and treatment procedures, maintaining case files, and interpreting and editing consumer forms.
• Coordinate facility with school and community services.

The Must Haves
• Master’s Degree in a behavioral or social science field.
• A minimum of three years of related Clinical supervisory/management experience.
• Licensed in the state of OK as LPC, LBP or LCSW. Additional license of LADC preferred.
• Basic computer skills including knowledge of MS Word.
• Familiarity with and current knowledge of CARF, OHCA, ODMHSAS and other governing body requirements and regulations and Oklahoma State Department of Health mental health and substance abuse licensing board requirements.
