As a Clinical Specialist in Neurosurgery, you will play a crucial role in promoting clinical excellence and supporting the adoption of Integra's Specialty Surgical (SS) products. You work closely with neurosurgeons, neurologists, intensivists, general surgeons (especially in HPB and Gyneco-Oncology), as well as with other healthcare professionals. This position is field-based and combines case coverage and training. Performance will be evaluated against quarterly objectives (quotas) and management objectives (MBOs) as part of our variable compensation plan. You will primarily focus on the Codman portfolio of surgical and intensive care products, supporting procedures performed in the operating room (OR) and in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and enhance clients' technical understanding of Integra's SS products in surgery and critical care, with a particular focus on the ranges in neurocritical care.
  • Provide thorough and regular hands-on training to clients.
  • Collaborate with area managers to execute account strategies and promote the use of the products.
  • Design and manage clinical training programs for priority accounts, enhancing knowledge and achieving growth objectives.
  • Conduct sales presentations and client training sessions, providing occasional support to other branch managers in Ontario,
  • Represent Integra at conferences and professional meetings, promoting SS products to specialized associations.
  • Accompany clients in the contractual development process and contribute to responses to requests for proposals (RFP).
  • Serve as a clinical resource for the Marketing department during product development and launches.
  • Maintain a high level of clinical, market, and product knowledge.
  • Work in accordance with defined budgets and the company's internal policies.
  • Carry out administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Participate in special projects, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for this position:

  • Relevant undergraduate degree. RN or LPN designation desired or equivalent healthcare practitioner or industry experience.
  • At least four years working experience similar role or inside Hospitals
  • Proven track record of hospital-based sales success.
  • Strong presentation and demonstration skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple HCP (specialty) relationships spanning nursing, surgeon, intensivists, other OR staff.
  • Nursing/healthcare or technical background combined with sales experience /success built on strong product knowledge and high levels of user customer facing interaction
  • Ability to work well as part of a high performing team.
  • Establish and maintain product knowledge on assigned product ranges
  • Develop and maintain good clinical knowledge of procedures & clinical papers where our products are used
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of competitors, their products and services, their strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing to update competitor insights/database.
  • Understanding and command of Challenger Sales Methodology
  • The role is a field-based position. It is expected that at least 50% of the time this role may be required travel. This will be planned as much as possible and may involve some time away from home (e.g. overnight travel to attend out of province meetings and events within Quebec where attendance will exceed one business day).
  • Proficiency in French and English is essential.
  • Valid driver's license.
