About the Role:

As a Clinical Specialist at Endologix, you will be at the center of life-saving procedures, partnering with world-class physicians and high-performing sales teams to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes. This is a dynamic, hands-on field role for professionals who thrive in the OR, excel under pressure, and are motivated by meaningful impact on patient lives.

The Clinical Specialist provides in-procedure technical guidance, case planning expertise, and ongoing therapy education to support safe and effective implantation of Endologix’s AFX and ALTO EVAR devices. Acting as a trusted clinical partner to implanting physicians and the sales organization, you will play a critical role in building confidence, driving adoption, and elevating the standard of care across your territory.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Physician Support & Case Leadership:

  • Deliver expert, in-procedure technical guidance to physicians during AFX and ALTO EVAR cases, with an unwavering focus on optimizing patient outcomes.
  • Arrive early, fully prepared, and ready to engage in thoughtful pre-case strategy discussions that support procedural excellence.
  • Provide confident command and control in every procedural environment, ensuring a seamless experience for physicians, staff, and patients.
  • Identify appropriate patients, support case planning using imaging (CT, angio, etc.), and build trusted, transparent clinical relationships with physicians and hospital teams.

Territory Coverage & Responsiveness:

  • Provide dependable, consistent clinical support across the territory, demonstrating accountability and commitment to case coverage.
  • Respond promptly to case requests and serve as a highly trusted, reliable resource to the commercial team and physician partners.

Therapy Awareness & Education:

  • Partner closely with Sales Representatives to drive therapy adoption through collaborative educational initiatives, including:o Educational lunches and clinical in-serviceso Staff and office training programso Coordinated regional therapy awareness activities
  • Leverage clinical evidence, marketing tools, and emerging best practices to educate, engage, and expand appropriate therapy utilization.

Clinical Expertise & Continuous Learning:

  • Maintain deep knowledge of device technology, procedural techniques, tools, and clinical data to support informed clinical decision-making.
  • Continuously advance expertise in aortic disease management and EVAR therapy, staying curious, adaptable, and current in a rapidly evolving clinical landscape.

Operational Excellence:

  • Execute all administrative responsibilities with accuracy, transparency, and timeliness, including:o Salesforce case documentation and calendar updateso Inventory and MOVE usageo Training and program requestso Complaint reportingo Expense reporting
  • Input all case details into Salesforce by close of business daily and respond to email communications promptly and professionally.

Collaboration, Professionalism & Culture:

  • Communicate regularly with Sales Representatives and the Regional Sales Manager to align on territory strategy, priorities, and workload needs.
  • Demonstrate a positive, solutions-oriented mindset and the confidence to take smart risks in pursuit of excellence.
  • Uphold and exemplify the Endologix culture of accountability, teamwork, integrity, and high performance.

Other Duties:

  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Approximately 50% travel required, with flexibility to support cases on short notice.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or comparable experience.

Experience:

  • 4+ years of clinical, medical device, or related experience.

  • Exceptional Clinical Communication: Delivers clear, concise, and value-adding communication with physicians and staff throughout all phases of the procedure, complemented by thorough and effective post-case follow-up.

The compensation package includes:

  • Base salary of $115,000/yr-$130,000/yr + commission
  • Equity participation as approved by Board of Directors (4-year vesting schedule)
