Primary Scope:

The incumbent will contribute to, and support the business unit to achieve sales targets, goals and objectives of the Solventum Dental Division (DSD) business plan, via successful execution of the Marketing and Scientific Evidence & Education (SE&E) plans.

Provide specialised clinical support and education to business teams and oral healthcare professionals for all current Dental Solutions Division’s (DSD) focus portfolios for Restorative Dental Materials, Prosthodontics, Orthodontics and Disease Management Range and across private, government and universities segments in Malaysia (MY).

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for extending technical and clinical support for the division
• Work with Business Leader to regularly assess, enhance and maintain Solventum Sales Teams & Channel partners’ Sales Teams’ capability to recommend Solventum clinical solutions to Health Care professionals.
• Takes an active role as an educator to dentists, dental assistants, dental students to promote best practices in the field of Oral Care.
• Conduct dental product training for all DSD business personnel, relevant channel partner personnel, and customers/end users (private, government and university segments)
• Instrumental in the division's New Product Introduction programs ensuring successful commercialization of all new products.
• Ownership of territory and accounts and up to 70% of time in field
• Work closely with Activation Marketer for any product trials
• To assist SE&E Manager in dental specific troubleshooting, quality issues (CFR) and general Q&A
• Field work with Solventum and channel partners’ sales teams.
• The position will report to the Business Leader of Solventum Dental Solutions Division.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a clinician and/or industry representative within the dental industry
• Must have in depth knowledge of dental products and procedures
• Demonstrated experience in leading projects or taking on training/leadership responsibilities in current role
• Good general understanding of dental business
• Demonstrated experience with planning and executing product launches, including working with Sales, Marketing and Product Management.
• Demonstrated ability and experience coaching other representatives on product and procedural knowledge and on engaging customers on a clinical level
• Must have effective oral, written and presentation communication skills
• Ability to work in collaborative and independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
• Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Work location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

· Hybrid (Onsite and Remote): Eligible

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
