About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Specialist to support a UK-based employer within their medical division.
This role is ideal for a South African professional with a strong clinical or medical background, excellent communication skills, and confidence working directly with healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will provide on-site clinical support, product training and education to surgeons, nurses and hospital teams. You will also work closely with the sales team to support product adoption, strengthen customer relationships and contribute to overall business growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site clinical support during surgical procedures.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide intraoperative troubleshooting when required.
- Deliver product training and in-service education sessions to surgeons, nurses and hospital staff.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), surgeons and other healthcare professionals
- Partner with the sales team to support customer engagement, product adoption and business growth.
- Develop and implement effective clinical and product training programmes.
- Provide healthcare professionals with expert product guidance and ongoing clinical support.
- Stay up to date with relevant medical developments, technologies and industry trends.
- Collaborate with sales and other cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain a professional, proactive and customer-focused approach when representing the business.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Relevant experience within the medical, healthcare or medical-device industry
- Experience providing clinical support or working directly with healthcare professionals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Confidence using medical equipment, systems and relevant software.
- The ability to work independently, manage responsibilities effectively and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- A proactive, professional and solutions-focused approach.
- The ability to build trusted relationships with surgeons, clinical teams and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Previous experience working with UK clients or international companies would be advantageous.
- Access to a reliable laptop, stable internet connection and a suitable professional working environment.

Salary: R30,000 per month
