IQVIA is recruiting for a Clinical Specialist in London and the south East, working in the field of joint medical devices specifically hip and knee replacements and revisions

In this role you will be responsible for maintaining an existing customer base and developing sales in strategic accounts across several UK sales territories. In this role, you will become an integral part of the sales team by providing support to several territory managers in servicing their customers and accounts.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Provide in theatre support to consultants and nursing staff regarding the use of products for knee and hip surgery
• Provide accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) for use to orthopaedic consultants and nursing staff
• Provide first class service to customers including training, stock checks, timely deliveries and supporting the theatre team to ensure the operation proceeds successfully
• Assist in the promotion/correct use of our client’s products through regular, organised customer education meetings and training sessions
• Develop business opportunities across the portfolio in Key Focus Accounts, communicate to the Territory Manager, and support the successful conversion of these business opportunities
• Promote use of spinal portfolio and services to Orthopaedic Surgeons, Theatre Staff

Ideal Experience:

Experience of orthopaedics is essential
Experience in hip and knee surgery is preferable

A solid understanding of Theatre Environment is essential

Either a clinical qualification, e.g. ODP, RGN, Physiotherapy/ Chiropractor etc
