Permanent Full Time | Therapy Services | SensesWA

Are you an experienced allied health clinician and people leader ready to make a meaningful impact in the disability sector? SensesWA is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to provide clinical and operational leadership across our multidisciplinary Therapy Services team.

As a leading not-for-profit disability organisation, SensesWA delivers high-quality, evidence-based services that support people with disability to build capacity, participate in their communities and lead meaningful lives. Our therapy services include Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work and specialist programs across the lifespan.

About the role

The Clinical Services Manager provides clinical and operational leadership within Therapy Services, supporting a high-performing multidisciplinary workforce and contributing to service quality, compliance, innovation and organisational strategy. The role includes a combination of team leadership, direct clinical service delivery, workforce management, reporting and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, supervise and develop a multidisciplinary therapy team.
  • Provide clinical and operational leadership that supports safe, high-quality and evidence-based practice.
  • Maintain a direct clinical caseload as part of the role allocation.
  • Manage team performance, supervision, KPIs, recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
  • Support NDIS Practice Standards, documentation quality, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, caseload and waitlist data, reporting and service performance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and contribute to strategic planning, grants, tenders and service development.

About you

You will be an experienced allied health professional with demonstrated clinical expertise in disability services and the ability to lead, coach and support multidisciplinary teams. You will bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, a commitment to person-centred practice and the ability to balance clinical, operational and leadership responsibilities in a dynamic service environment.

Essential requirements

  • Must have a valid legal right to work in Australia.
  • Tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline
  • AHPRA or Speech Pathology Australia registration, as applicable.
  • 7+ years Demonstrated clinical expertise in disability services.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and supervising clinicians.
  • Strong understanding of NDIS Practice Standards and compliant documentation requirements.
  • Ability to manage caseloads, competing priorities and operational demands.
  • Current driver’s licence and ability to work across SensesWA locations.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and proof of right to work in Australia.
  • Must be willing to work 0.8 to full time

Desirable experience

  • In Not-for-profit disability, community health or related sectors.
  • As a Clinician or manager in NDIS
  • In service development, grants, tenders or fee-for-service models.
  • Working alongside community or Supported Independent Living services.
