The Prince William-Manassas Regional Adult Detention Center (ADC) is seeking a dedicated, career-focused Clinical Services Caseworker to join our collaborative and mission-driven team for a temporary appointment. The ADC is a well-established agency in Prince William County, VA. We provide safety and security for our staff as well as the individuals in our care while we serve the residents of Prince William County. This role involves direct interaction with the incarcerated population and provides a meaningful opportunity to make a measurable difference in individuals’ lives and in public safety.

The Clinical Services Caseworker delivers comprehensive mental health services to the inmate population. Responsibilities include clinical screening, assessment, intervention, counseling, therapy, treatment planning, and rehabilitation support. Services are provided through both individual and group sessions. This full-time position is a temporary appointment not to exceed beyond 5/31/2027.
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social services, social work, or related field. 2 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Full time 40 hours per week.
$81,140.80 - $107,211.65 Annually

Positions in this class typically require reaching, standing, walking, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions. May also require exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
Incumbents may be subjected to workspace restrictions, intense noises, and travel within the facility. Work is performed in an inherently stressful environment and involves risks to personal safety with possible exposure to blood borne and air borne pathogens in the working environment.
