Clinical Sciences Lab Coordinator (Full-Time)

SALARY:
$21.97 - $25.29 per hour DOE. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Primary Purpose
Provide full-time, on-site administrative support to the department faculty at the RVU-COM campus in Billings, Montana
Essential Job Functions
- Assist faculty with their planning and execution of curricular activities involving labs
- Coordinate and post student lab group assignments
- Help set up and maintain all aspects of the lab-based course content and materials, including laundry
- Calendar curriculum and faculty assignments
- Coordinate faculty teaching assignments
- Manage curricular content in Learning Management System, in collaboration with Clinical Sciences Administrative Assistant
- Track student attendance and academic performance, in collaboration with Clinical Sciences Administrative Assistant
- Assign and track faculty grading
- Coordinate adjunct faculty teaching assignments and timecard recording
- Provide tech support in lab and with adjunct faculty
- Coordinate lab supplies with Office of SIMS
- Attend department meetings and participate in assigned committees
- Provide individualized student support
- Help build a culture that respects, values, and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Other duties as assigned by the Chair of the Department of Clinical Sciences or his/her designee

- Assist administration, faculty, administrative assistant, and staff in special projects as necessary.

- Working level of computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook) as well as video conferencing (e.g. Teams and Zoom).

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of protected data (student grades, etc)

Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in an administrative support role or in similar roles performing support functions and detail-oriented tasks.
- Experience working in various software programs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certificates or college degree (associates or other advanced degree) from an accredited institution.
- Advanced level of computer skills, specifically Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Professional background or experience in education.
- Knowledge of scientific and medical terminology.
