The Department of Neurology has an opening for a motivated full-time Clinical Research Professional (Telehealth Scheduler) to coordinate visits for the Movement Disorders TeleNeurology UPL Program. This position is responsible for overseeing and supporting the clinical aspects of the TeleNeurology UPL Program. This position will collaborate with colleagues at all levels of the organization. We are seeking an individual who is collaborative, communicative, caring, detail oriented and organized, proactive, able to think critically, focused on quality, dedicated to personal growth, and highly motivated in all areas of clinic coordination.
The position is located at the Anschutz Medical Campus.Hours are usually 8:00 to 5:00 weekdays, but occasionally longer hours are required, depending on participant volume and schedules. Some travel may also be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinating and scheduling clinic visits and collecting/recording data.This position includes comprehensive direct patient contact including pre-visit, during visit and post visit follow-up on referrals with a high-level of ethics and integrity.
Participating in program recruitment initiatives that include communicating with patients who have expressed interest in the program, prescreening activities, screening patients, assisting patients with pre and post visit assessments, and documenting patient enrollment statuses in collaboration with the TeleNeurology UPL Team.
Schedule patients by collaborating and communicating with the patients and TeleNeurology UPL providers.This includes considering the Program Director’s schedule, staff schedules, patient schedules, clinic schedules, etc. in order for visit windows and the protocol requirements to be followed.
Working, communicating, and collaborating with various colleagues (e.g., Program Director, other clinicians, medical staff, sponsors, neurology staff, finance and billing professionals, and CU Medicine UPL team) at various stages of the TeleNeurology UPL Program. The PRA/Telehealth Scheduler is responsible for providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders by presenting a positive image of the department and University.
Managing accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities and correspondence including data entry of patient information and administration of assessments in internal database. This position will also be responsible for responding to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Participating in Movement Disorders TeleNeurology UPL Program meetings.Collaborating with team members for backup needs, sharing learning experiences, and applying learning opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Work Location:
Hybrid – this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Entry Level:
Bachelor’s degree in biological science, psychology, or nursing, or related field
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis
Intermediate Level:
Bachelor’s degree in biological science, psychology, or nursing, or related field
A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis
One (1) year of direct patient contact experience, working in human subjects’ research OR working in a health care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Technical writing experience (manuscripts or protocols)
Bi-lingual (i.e., Spanish)
Experience in Neuroscience
Experience with RedCap, FileMaker Pro, eCRF databases
Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
Experience with medication reconciliation, documenting medical histories, and preparing patients for exams
Experience with virtual medical visits platforms and rooming patients for virtual appointments with medical providers
Experience cultivating relationships with community and rural providers and groups
Customer service experience
Experience with web-based tracking systems and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
Entry:$49,899 - $63,823
Intermediate:$54,302 - $69,455
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
