General Summary

  • The Education Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in supporting and implementing clinical training programs for a variety of healthcare students. This position is responsible for managing scheduling, onboarding, compliance, and administrative support for job shadowing, nursing, allied health, and graduate-level student programs. It also provides vital assistance with departmental reporting and special project coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling, onboarding, and clinical placement processes for a variety of student programs, including job shadowing, nursing (ADN, BSN, MSN), allied health, paramedic/EMT, and medical assistant students.
  • Serve as liaison between students, academic institutions, and clinical training sites.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional onboarding requirements
  • Assist with the organization and execution of CCC events
  • Collect and input data into APEX and assist with quarterly audit reviews.
  • Contribute to federal, state, board, and APEX reporting and student activity tracking.
  • Maintain accurate records of training, participation, and compliance across disciplines.
  • Assist Senior Clinical Education Coordinator with special projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Support pipeline activities for high school and undergraduate students.

Education

  • High school diploma and additional training. Associates degree in related field preferred.


Work Experience

  • Two years of office experience and one year data entry experience required. One year of teaching experience required.

Mental/Physical Requirements

  • High levels of communication skills, concentration, attention to details, ability to process and interpret diverse information while working simultaneously on several projects. Must be able to transport self throughout the facility. Must be able to lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
