Clinical Sales Specialist
The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for building relationships with and supporting clinical staff, doctors, healthcare providers and respiratory therapists, with a focus on pulmonology and sleep medicine, particularly engaging with recognised thought leaders in relevant specialist fields, specifically home ventilation and weaning, as well as defined key accounts. The role analyzes market dynamics and competitive landscapes to identify strategic sales opportunities and guides the development of tailored sales plans. The role leverages advanced knowledge of Philips' clinical applications and technologies and demonstrates and communicates value propositions that resonate with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
Your role:
Adapts sales strategies and approaches tailored to the specific clinical needs and challenges presented by different healthcare modalities and customer segments, working under general supervision.
Analyzes market dynamics, customer pain points, and competitive landscapes to discern and capitalize on strategic sales opportunities, guiding tailored sales plans and initiatives.
Applies advanced knowledge of Philips' clinical applications and technologies to effectively demonstrate and articulate value propositions that resonate with healthcare professionals and decision-makers.
Assesses customer requirements and operational workflows through comprehensive consultations and needs assessments, proposing customized solutions aligned with clinical and business objectives.
Conducts proactive follow-up and post-sale support activities, facilitating seamless implementation and adoption of Philips' solutions, and promptly addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
Consults strategically with healthcare providers and facilities, offering expert guidance on integrating Philips' solutions into their clinical workflows to achieve optimal patient outcomes and operational efficiencies.
Participates in the development of strategic account plans and forecasts, tracking performance metrics against targets, and refining sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales objectives and revenue targets.
You're the right fit if:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales Management or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical sales, health operations or equivalent.
You are characterised by your ability to work independently and take ownership, combined with strong organisational and implementation skills
You have a strong customer focus, think ahead and see the bigger picture
Exceptional sales presentations and sales acumen, with ability to translate technical product features into compelling value propositions and support Strategy Implementation.
Strong data analysis & interpretation and requirements analysis skills to perform accurate needs assessment and inform customer-focused solutions.
Languages: fluent in German, French and English.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.
Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
