The Clinical Research Coordinator I-H provides support for the day-to-day implementation and coordination of clinical research studies. Under the direction of research investigators and study leadership, this position assists with participant recruitment and enrollment, coordination of study visits, data and specimen collection, maintenance of study and regulatory documentation, and compliance with research protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.The Clinical Research Coordinator works collaboratively with investigators, clinical teams, research staff, community partners, and study participants to support participant retention and the successful completion of research objectives.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesAssists with the coordination and implementation of clinical research studies in accordance with approved study protocols.Recruits, screens, and enrolls eligible research participants.Assists with the informed consent process in accordance with study requirements and institutional policies.Coordinates and schedules participant study visits, procedures, and follow-up activities.Collects, enters, maintains, and verifies research data while ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.Assists with the collection, processing, tracking, and documentation of research specimens as required by study protocols.Maintains study files, participant records, regulatory documents, and other required research documentation.Monitors study activities to ensure compliance with research protocols, human-subject protections, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and institutional requirements.
Minimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED required.Comparable work experience may not substitute for the minimum education requirement.Ability to learn and apply clinical research principles, study protocols, and regulatory requirements.Preferred EducationBachelor’s degree in one of the following or a related discipline preferred:
