The Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) A will provide clinical research support for a Center grant funded by the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the Penn Innovation in Suicide Prevention Research Center (INSPIRE). The CRC A will work across the Administrative Core, Methods Core, and multiple research projects. This position will support the development of study materials; recruit and consent participants; conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection and data entry; prepare initial drafts of Institutional Review Board (IRB), Data Safety and Monitoring Board (DSMB), and National Institutes of Health (NIH) documents; assist in maintaining and nurturing positive working relationships with community partners and study participants; and provide administrative support for INSPIRE operations.

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in human subjects research or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Previous experience with working in community mental health settings, suicide prevention, and/or implementation science is desired. Proficiency in computer programs such as Microsoft Office suite, online survey/database platforms (e.g., REDCap, Qualtrics), and qualitative data analysis software (e.g., NVivo, Dedoose) is preferred. Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail; the ability to manage multiple responsibilities including daily tasks and planning for longer-term deadlines; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; and the ability to work both autonomously and within a team are all essential for this position. Individual must be comfortable communicating with diverse audiences.
This position is contingent upon funding.
