Salary Range: $28.00 - $29.00 Hourly

Job Shift: DayPosition Overview:
We are looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to support the clinical research and assist with the operational activities of the Liu Center for Pulmonary Hypertension at The Lundquist Institute for Biomedical Innovation, located at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. The CRC will coordinate multiple pulmonary hypertension clinical trials (PAH, PH-ILD, PH-HFpEF) under Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines, assist clinical staff with study activities, and ensure compliance with all institutional, study protocol, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all study procedures are performed per the protocol.
- Support or perform study visit procedures, including vital signs, assessments, and specimen collection (excluding RN or Physican-only procedures).
- Collect, process, prepare, and ship biological samples to central laboratories following protocol and safety guidelines.
- Enter study data promptly and accurately into EDC systems, safety portals, IRT, and all other study systems.
- Back up medical record documentation, study visit notes, and informed consent (administration and verification).
- Monitor sample labeling, documentation accuracy, and data completeness.
- Assist in obtaining imaging procedures and transmit date to the study sponsor.
- Follow up on participant schedule of event or pending assessments per protocol.
- Assist participants during study visits and ensure a supportive and professional environment.
- Back up on document filing to maintain and organize study regulatory binders.
- Query resolution and related communications.
- Assist with document preparation for study monitoring visits, audits, and institutional inspections.
- QC (quality check) charts and data prior to monitoring or audits.
- Support participant reimbursement tracking, appointment scheduling, and visit reminders.
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary team within a leading academic research institute.
- Moderate physical activity including occasional lifting of supplies and sample handling.
- Requires flexibility to support participant visits and study timelines.
Required Skills and

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in health sciences or related field (preferred).
- Exposure to clinical or clinical research conduction in pulmonary or cardiology.
- Current certification in phlebotomy.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, research-focused environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, REDCap, and/or electronic data capture (EDC) systems.
- Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and HIPAA regulations.
