The University of Miami, College of Arts and Sciences, has an exciting opportunity for a full time Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to work in Coral Gables, FL.
The Department of Psychology and the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center have a new opportunity for a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator 1 to assist research projects focused on developing and testing patient-centered behavioral strategies to improve health and wellbeing in the context of cancer. This role provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in behavioral health and non-pharmacologic intervention trials in healthcare settings. The Clinical Research Coordinator 1 will have a foundation in clinical research through assigned responsibilities in data management and implementing clinical research protocols. This role assumes responsibility for clinical research protocols and timelines including the planning, coordinating, implementing, and monitoring of clinical research studies. The incumbent works closely with study team members, clinicians, study patients, and other study sites, and operates with the goal of advancing their expertise through continued education, training, and research.

This position offers unique opportunities to learn about behavioral treatments and strategies and digital health interventions for promoting health behaviors, self-efficacy, and quality of life among adult patients in the context of cancer. The incumbent will work under the supervision of study investigators. As part of this role, additional opportunities may include assisting the study investigators with scholarly tasks including the preparation of scientific abstracts; conducting literature reviews and synthesizing relevant data; and conducting participant interviews.
