Job Description

We are seeking 3 experienced, dynamic, and highly organized individuals to fill the role of clinic research assistant for adolescent mental health science area. This role will focus on tracking and tracing of an existing cohort, and preparations for a full round of data collection.

  • Support with translation of proposed study materials into isiZulu
  • Attend all necessary trainings on different data collection tools
  • Prepare for, and complete, tracking and tracing participants via telephone and by car
  • Conduct informed consent and ultra-brief telephonic or in-person interview with participants
  • Conduct longer full questionnaire data collection with participants when needed
  • Keep records of all processes, and study paperwork related to these activities

Requirements of the Job

Minimum Qualifications

  • Matric Certificate
  • A valid South African Code 08 or 10 Driver’s license with at least 2 years driving experience

Minimum Experience

  • Two years related experience in a similar role.
