Job Description

Workplace Type: On-Site

At Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health, our clinicians are at the heart of the care we provide to medically complex children and young adults. The Clinical Recruiter plays a critical role in helping us attract, engage, place, and support exceptional nurses who align with our mission and HALOS values.

This is not a traditional recruiting role. This position combines recruiting, relationship management, staffing coordination, and operational execution. Team members in this role manage clinicians throughout the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial outreach through successful first shift placement, while partnering closely with branch operations teams to support staffing and growth goals.

The ideal candidate is highly relationship-driven, organized, fast-paced, operationally minded, and able to thrive in an environment requiring urgency, communication, multitasking, and accountability.

In this role, you will:
  • Recruit, source, and engage nurses and clinicians through applicant flow, outbound recruiting, referrals, networking, social media, and proactive outreach.
  • Build strong clinician relationships and create a positive candidate experience through professional, timely, and consistent communication.
  • Match clinicians to appropriate client opportunities based on clinical fit, availability, location, schedule preferences, and staffing needs.
  • Discuss schedules, case opportunities, compensation/pay rates, and placement details with candidates professionally and confidently.
  • Manage candidate progression from initial contact through onboarding and successful first shift placement while maintaining urgency and reducing candidate drop-off.
  • Partner closely with branch teams on staffing priorities, urgent needs, schedule changes, and clinician placement.
  • Support branch staffing success by helping fill new and existing client needs with qualified, reliable clinicians.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up within recruiting, applicant tracking, and scheduling systems.
  • Collaborate with Recruiting Administrators on scheduling, onboarding coordination, and follow-up tasks while maintaining ownership and accountability for candidate progression and staffing outcomes.
  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while responding quickly and professionally to staffing challenges, schedule changes, candidate concerns, and operational priorities.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, scheduling, operations coordination, workforce coordination, account management, or another relationship-based role
  • Strong computer proficiency including ATS/CRM systems, Outlook, scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-volume operational environments and managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously
  • Experience communicating with employees, clinicians, clients, or customers throughout the day via phone, text, and email
  • Experience discussing schedules, staffing needs, compensation, or placement opportunities preferred; home health, healthcare staffing, service industry operations, or workforce management experience is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Healthcare Administration, Communications, Management, Marketing, or related field preferred
