Purpose of Position: To support clinical quality improvements, education and initiatives across the CHT Care Homes. Key Responsibilities: • Work collaboratively with the Clinical Quality Lead to deliver the Clinical Quality Strategy • Support clinical risk mitigation across the CHT care homes • Collate data, review, analyse and report • Identify themes and trends and recommend / develop initiatives or training • Provide education and training to support quality initiatives and improvements • Participate in continuous improvement projects across the care homes • Support the audit process as needed • Work with the Learning & Development Advisor on clinical training • Maintain competency in knowledge and clinical practice appropriate to the role • Support CHT in creating and maintaining a responsive and respectful culture that integrates our values, enables diversity and is culturally appropriate Ideal Person Specification • Compassionate and caring, with empathy for the older population, with a working knowledge of aged residential care • Excellent risk assessment skills • Effective in coaching and mentoring, driving improvements and best practice • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience and Practising Certificate • Strong communicator, with excellent oral and written communication skills, with clear spoken English • High attention to detail with a focus on quality reporting • Critical thinker, able to work autonomously, across care homes and with key stakeholders • Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Working knowledge of VCare • Current full driver’s licence and able to travel.
