Are you an outstanding Clinical Psychologist Specialising in Neuropsychology or aspiring Consultant Neuropsychologist with a passion for delivering high quality care?

We need a Clinical Psychologist, preferably with an interest in working towards the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology, to join our specialist Neurological rehabilitation service, The Daley Centre in Sheffield

Joining our team, you will work part time, 24hrs per week across 3 days.

The Daley Centre:

The Daley Care Centre is a specialist Neurological Rehabilitation and Complex Care service supporting adults with acquired brain injuries (ABI), spinal cord injuries (SCI) and complex neurological conditions.

Day to Day:

  • To work closely with the wider Neuropsychiatric MDT staff at Daley Care Centre to provide innovative psychological thinking, perspective taking and clinical decision making.
  • To complete and deliver complex psychological and neuropsychological assessments, formulations and intervention plans, carry their own caseload, co-ordinate joint MDT assessment and co-working where appropriate.
  • To teach and support care staff and contribute to their Continued Professional Development.
  • To innovate reflective practice within Daley Care Centre.
  • To lead on the service in collecting and evaluating of outcome measures.
  • The person must have up to date knowledge around various different psychological models applicable to this clinical population, and various models of team working for neuropsychiatric and neurobehavioural rehabilitation.
  • To work autonomously within professional guidelines and exercise responsibility for the systematic governance of psychological practice.
  • To develop audit, outcome measurement and analysis of key performance indicators for the Neuropsychology service at Daley Care Centre. To regularly and actively manage performance against targets for Neuropsychology.
  • To ensure systems are in place for the clinical supervision and support for Assistant Psychologists working into the neuropsychology service and reflective practice for all staff as appropriate.

We are looking for someone who is…

  • A HCPC registered Practitioner or Neuro Psychologist, ideally with experience of working in a neuro-rehabilitation and/or mental health/forensic settings.
  • On the British Psychological Society Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists or working towards this.
  • On the British Psychological Society register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors or eligible for entry onto this.
  • Passionate about working with people presenting with complex range of Neuropsychological difficulties.
  • Capable of providing treatment for people with cognitive impairments such as memory problems, executive functioning difficulties, language difficulties alongside mental health difficulties, self-harm, physical & verbal aggression, history of sexual offending and drug & alcohol problem where appropriate and associated with Neuropsychological issues.
