Work with an integrative and multidisciplinary team at Baptist Health Lexington in order to address and meet behavioral health needs of patients in the Lexington and the surrounding counties. Conduct assessments, provide individual counseling sessions, and develop individualized treatment plans in order to best facilitate our patients’ well-being and diminish emotional distress. Interventions and treatment are conducted according to our mission and includes operating from a well-being model. For example, patient interventions include: building coping skills for stress, empowerment through building healthy habits, stress alleviation via mindfulness practices, guidance in healing/recovering from trauma, and teaching/promoting adaptive thinking (alleviating negative self-talk).
Key Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to meet patients' specific needs and treatment goals.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
PhD degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Social Work.
Current/valid KY License to practice Psychology or Social Work
Minimum of 1 year demonstrated experience in teaching and/or counseling.
Pediatric experience preferred (ages 6 and up)
Experience with ASD and ADHD testing preferred
